Mostly 1gb will run windows 7 32 bit, but your laptop might struggle with 64 bit (max memory on yours is 2gb, but 64 bit can allow it to run more- not obvious on website.Try the tool and then decide- Windows 7 is good with drivers- I would think that as you have only Integrated VIA K8VM800 on-die graphics solution
/Optional AGP 8X graphics card graphics card you may only be able run the basic windows 7.
