Acer Aspire 8730-6951

I have been having problems with my Acer Aspire 8730-6951 and the repair shop told me that this computer has been recalled. Is this true and what was the recall for?

Greetings - The model does not appear to have been recalled according to Recallowl.com

Neither are there signs online to support the their words.
