How Can I Disable The Touchpad Because I Keep Hitting It With My Thumbs When I T
I only use my mouse so I would like to disable (not permanently) my touchpad. Is ther a safe way to do this without harming my pc ?

To disable the touchpad of your Acer Aspire 7551 laptop, please follow the instructions provided below.
1. Click Start/Windows logo
2. Click the Control Panel
3. Click the Hardware and Sound
4. Click the Mouse
5. Locate the tab for the application of your touchpad and click it
6. You can disable the settings here
