Unable To Connect To Wireless Internet

I just purchased an Acer Aspire 5333-4218 computer. It is a year old and has been returned to factory reset. I am unable to connect to the wireless internet. I can connect with my old laptop, no problem. I tried unplugging my router and modem for over 10 secs...didn't work. I checked in Device Manager and it tells me the wireless adapter is working well. When I try to connect and put in my password, it says "windows was unable to connect to network"

If you've reset your laptop back to its factory default state, it may have an Acer program that's trying to run the wireless adapter. Disable this program, then enable Windows' wireless service, called Wireless Zero. Detailed instructions for enabling Wireless Zero can be found here:
