this kind problem occurred to me when i tried to reset the windows 8 and 10.

it reboots to the same screen and goes no future. the best way is to reinstall the os from scratch by formatting the C drive is the easy way if you have a installer disk. or make a bootable usb from another computer using linux live usb creator

As you have tried to reset i assume that our data is already backed up to a different portable drive.

if the OS is a genuine one get a OEM version specific to your serial key. ie windows 8 home or pro edition like wise.

the serial key is present in the harddisk reserved space which can be retrived by using tools like "windows product key"

hope this helps with our problem. thank you
