Why Does My Phone Say Emergency Calls Only

Hello stassiamarie71,

'Emergency calls only' usually occurs when an account's service has been turned off by their wireless provider. The accountholder wil not be able to call others, except for 911 calls.

Contact your At&T wireless provider to inquire why (this is usually, but not always, due to non-payment)

800-331-0500 Keep pressing 0 through out the prompts for a customer care representative

Greetings - Try pulling out the battery while the phone is running or on and wait for 5 minutes, replace it, turn the phone as normal and observe. Do call your contact your carrier as the last resort.
