HP ROM-Based Setup Utility User Guide Abstract This document details how to access and use the HP ROM-Based Setup Utility that is for the person who installs, administers, and troubleshoots servers and storage systems. This Embedded Serial Port Connector option controls how the system uses the embedded front serial port. Embedded Serial Port Connector NOTE: This option is attached. • Front Serial Port-Disables auto-switching and always have the embedded serial port function via the front serial port when the SUV cable is not attached, but automatically switches to the SUV cable if it is available only on some Gen8 servers.
