Fiber attenuation of the sample systems reflect conservative values for fiber attenuation and connector attenuation to assure operation at 70 km under typical to obtain actual link attenuation values at 1550 nm for the fiber intended for all three of 0.19 dB per km and lower is possible, allowing link lengths beyond 70 km.
