Tailgate wire harness connector (White) Connector cover (Gray) n Removing the tailgate Open the tailgate to the angle where you can release the brackets on both sides. Attach the connector cover (Gray) to about 30° from the lugs on the support cables from vertical and pull up and slide it off. Support cable bracket Tilt the tailgate to the tailgate wire harness connector (White). Lift the support cable bracket up the right side of the tailgate to unhook the right side. 42 Opening, closing and locking the doors Pull out the wire harness from the vehicle bed. 1-2.
