Operating the power door lock switch simultaneously locks or unlocks the back door (see "Side doors"). Vehicles with a power door lock system- 4RUNNER (1998) Type C LOCKING AND UNLOCKING WITH POWER BACK DOOR LOCK SWITCH Push the switch. Hood To unlock: Push the switch on the "LOCK" side. To lock: Push the switch on the "UNLOCK" side.
