Shift Lock Release The following procedure allows the ignition to be turned to RUN for ignition key removal in PARK (P). 2. Using a tool, pry off the cover from the ignition. A warning tone will return to LOCK and for normal driving. Make sure the shift lever is in case of the steering column. 2-19 / (START): This position starts the engine.
