Before closing the hood, be sure all the filler caps are on the hood prop. Lift the hood, release the hood prop rod from the slot in the hood marked PROP ROD. Then lift the hood to right or towards the driver's side of the vehicle and push the secondary hood release lever from left to relieve pressure on properly. Remove the hood prop from its retainer and put the hood prop into the slot in the hood and return the prop to its retainer. Then go to the front of the vehicle. 3. Then let the hood down and close it firmly. 5-11 2.
Before closing the hood, be sure all the filler caps are on the hood prop. Lift the hood, release the hood prop rod from the slot in the hood marked PROP ROD. Then lift the hood to right or towards the driver's side of the vehicle and push the secondary hood release lever from left to relieve pressure on properly. Remove the hood prop from its retainer and put the hood prop into the slot in the hood and return the prop to its retainer. Then go to the front of the vehicle. 3. Then let the hood down and close it firmly. 5-11 2.
