Driving FUEL CONSUMPTION Fuel economy can be improved by avoiding: • lack of regular, scheduled maintenance, • excessive speed, • rapid acceleration, • driving with the brake pedal depressed, • sudden stops, • extended engine idling, • use of speed control in hilly terrain, • extended use of the air conditioner, defroster, rear window defroster and other accessories, • underinflated tires, • heavy loads, • aftermarket add-ons such as bike, ski or luggage racks, bug deflectors, etc. 140

Remove the red bulb cover. 3. On vehicles equipped with a flat screwdriver. Remove inoperative stop lamp assembly. 2. To install, fit the new bulb in the spoiler. Luggage compartment lamp Pry out the light assembly from the holder with a rear spoiler, the high-mounted brake lamp is included in reverse sequence. See your dealer for repair. Maintenance and care High-mounted brake lamp Enter the rear seat compartment. 1. Remove the high-mounted stop lamp bulb. Turn the spherical bulb under slight pressure counterclockwise and remove. 210
