Separating Transmitter Halves Make sure not to pry the two halves of the transmitter apart. See www.dtsc.ca.gov/hazardouswaste/ perchlorate NOTE: Do not touch the battery terminals that are on the back housing or the printed circuit board. 1. 26 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE Transmitter Battery Service The recommended replacement battery is one CR2032 battery. With the transmitter buttons facing down, use a thin coin to damage the rubber gasket during removal. NOTE: Perchlorate Material - special handling may apply.

Skin oils may cause battery deterioration. To reassemble the transmitter case snap two halves together. Make sure there is an even "gap" between the two halves. Remove and replace the batteries. DOOR LOCKS Manual Door Locks Lock the doors by pushing down on the lock plungers on each door trim panel. 2 Door Lock Plunger Avoid touching the new batteries with rubbing alcohol. 3. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE 27 2. Test transmitter operation. If you touch a battery, clean it with your fingers.
