Open the liftgate. 2. CAUTION! Do not touch the new bulb with rubbing alcohol. 7 3. Disconnect the electrical connector. 5. Remove tail lamp access cover. Push the tail lamp electrical connector locking tab to the side. 4. Oil contamination will severely shorten bulb life. Remove 1 wingnut from the back of the tail lamp assembly. MAINTAINING YOUR VEHICLE 315 Tail/Stop, Turn Signal Lamp, and Backup Lamp 1. If the bulb comes in contact with an oily surface, clean the bulb with your fingers.
