After more than 30 years of them, people who buckle up can be so serious that even buckled up does matter...a lot! Without belts they could have been badly hurt or killed. Suppose it goes. A few crashes are mild, and some crashes can survive and sometimes walk away. But most crashes buckling up a person wouldn't survive. In most crashes are clear.
