You can removethe coolant surge tank pressure cap when the cooling system, including the coolant surge tank pressurecap and upper radiator hose, is still some pressure left and then stop . If you hear a hiss, wait for that to the left . 2. Turn the pressure cap slowly about one-quarter turn to stop . 1. A hiss means there is no longer hot. Then keep turning thepressure cap slowly, and remove it. 5-18

Then fill the coolant surge tank with the proper mix, up to FULL COLD or just above the small cylinder at the base of the proper mixto the coolant surge tank until youcan feel the upper radiator hose getting hot. Watch out for the engine fan. this By time, the coolant level inside the coolant surge tank maybe lower. If the level is lower, add more of the opening. 4. With the coolant surge tank pressure cap off, start the engine and let it run until the level reaches FULL COLD. 5-19 3.

Too much waterin the mix can freeze and crack the engine, radiator, heater core and other parts. To Check Coolant NOTICE: If you use an improper coolant mix, your engine could overheat and be the FULL COLD mark. 6-18 When your warranty. The repair cost wouldn't be covered by your engine iscold, the coolant level should at be badly damaged. Adding Coolant The surge tank is located on the passenger'sside of the engine compartment.
