Emachine El1852g Factory Restore
i cant figure out how to restre this computer without the restore cd

You can usually activate the facory recovery on emachines (often now under Acer) by pressing the F11 button on startup, usually as the logo appears- Sometimes it does not register every tim you try, so you may have to try a few times. Once there you will have recovery options, to factory, etc: choose the one you want and follow it through. If you can still get into windows, and there is an e-recovery button onthe keyboard, you can recover through that.
