I would just create them again.

From the experts:

"On the emachine el1200 you have to have the three factory restore DVDs. If you don't have the disc you will not be able to do a restore. This is not for all emachine products just the el1200. Restart you computer and when the first screen comes up start pressing F10 for the boot menu. Once you have the boot menu up insert the disc labeled 1 of 1 into the cd drive and close. Then select to boot the CDRom drive first. A menu will come up asking you if you want to do a system restore and select yes. One the process is started the computer will then tell you when to put in the next disc. And dont't worry if you put in the wrong disc the computer will spit it back out and tell you it was the wrong one. Hope this helps...."

For discs, look here, here and here.  AND, be sure to check this out, too.  I'm not sure what OS you're running, so I hope I covered them all for you.

I recovered the first time with which key I don't remember, but I wanted to know I could recover anytime I needed to. I lost my partition information, and nothing would boot. I got active partition recovery and boot disk maker.  I managed to recover my partitions, and the recovery partition was still there, but would not activate again. After much fooling around, I finally made the recovery partition active, so that it would boot on it's own. I am now reinstalling the factory setup, and it says to click ok to restart. I have the feeling I will have to go back to Active boot disk to make C: drive active again before it will boot normally. I'm doing this now.... Nope, Il'l have to go back to active boot disk to switch the active partitions around....Just made C: active and now Il'l reboot ....Windows is now starting up for the first time..... SUCCESS!!!!!    OK now I have a factory fresh install.... I also plan to copy the files from the recovery partition, and make a booting cd from it, as an insurance policy.  The only thing is, that it will have to be an 8 Gig dvd, because all the files come to around 7 Gigs!!  I am still puzzled why it won't boot from pressing F-11, I think it may have something to do with the drive letter, or some boot information being changed.  But I overcame, and conquered.  Now to top it off, Windows is requesting me to insert up to two dvd's to burn a Emachines factory default backup disk.... I'm in computer heaven!!!  It didn't do that the first time.?. Well I hope this helps someone out.  I busted my head for a week to finally get a solution.. I downloaded 10 different restore disks from Norton... including SOS,Recovery NIS,nbrt retail,Nortron recovery tool, nsw recovery, recovery 3c0, recovery nal, recovery x86, and none of them worked!!! The only one was Symantec System recovery, but it really didn't help that much, until I downloaded ACTIVE BOOT DISK MAKER, and file recovery. Later, Dave Mosher
