How To Restore Optical Drive On Eme528-2325

the cd dvd-rw rom previously read and wrote cds and dvds, but no longer reads or writes dvds. how do i fix this

Unfortunately the laser lens on the optical drive has likely gone bad. You'll have to have the drive replaced.
