I Have 'words With Friends' On My Nook. It Says Update Avail.-& I Can't Play. ?

It says "update avail." & "OK"....nothing happens.  Can't play the game.  Barnes& Noble said to archive it & try again in 24 hrs.  Doesn't work!  What can I do now???

I had the same exact problem. Here is what you do:

1) Press the menu button at the bottom of your nook 
2) Then select library 
3) At the top of that page select apps 
4) Then select check for upgrades 
5) Then just upgrade! Ta da!
