Scramble With Friends On Iphone Not Working

I did a forced reboot, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, shut down, etc.  It has taken more than a few tokens, the game starts but then goes to the main menu, then back to the game, then starts the 10 second countdown with 42 seconds showing - you name it and it's not working.  It's showing games finished 4 days ago.  It tells me to upgrade to the new version (epic fail as I already did), pretty much it's just totally bombed out on me.
