Can No Longer Play Gems With Friends On My Ipad.

Every time I click on a player I get booted out of the game. I'm not on Facebook, but I have always been able to play without it. I've got all my updates. I've deleted and reinstalled and tried every other suggestion. I'm so frustrated with zynga for not helping me with this problem despite numerous requests. I play a lot of zynga games. I'm disappointed to say the least !
