Using the Yamaha YPT-220 keyboard's built-in recording feature, you can record a song. Here's a detailed how-to:

Choose a Voice: Decide on the voice or instrument sound you wish to utilize in your recording. To switch between the available voices, press the "VOICE" button. Then, use the arrow buttons to choose the voice you want. Click "SELECT" to verify your selection.

Set the Tempo: If necessary, change the recording's tempo, or speed. Once the "TEMPO" button has been pressed, adjust the pace by using the arrow buttons. To be sure, click the "SELECT" button.

Choose a Style (Optional): You can choose a style to add a backing track or rhythm pattern to your recording. To view the style menu, click the "STYLE" button. After choosing a style with the arrow buttons, choose "START/STOP" to begin the style playback.

Initiate Recording:

To start recording, press the "REC" (record) button. The button labeled "REC" will begin to blink.
If you are using a style, click the "START/STOP" button located under the style section to begin the style playback.
To play your song, press the keys on the keyboard. Real-time video of your performance will be captured.

Stop Recording: Click the "STOP" button to end the recording of your song when you're done. The keyboard's memory will immediately store the recorded music.

Listen to Your Recording Again:

Click the "PLAY/STOP" button to hear the song you recorded. The "MASTER VOLUME" slider lets you change the volume.
If you're happy with the recording, you may use a USB flash drive to transfer it to an external device or save it permanently to the keyboard's memory.
Preserve Your Recording (Selective): You can take the following actions to permanently store your recording:

To view the song menu, press the "SONG" button.
To save your recording, choose an empty song slot by using the arrow buttons.
Hit the "SAVE" button and then "YES" to confirm.
And that's it! You've used your Yamaha YPT-220 keyboard to record a song. Do not hesitate to ask for help or if you have any more queries.
