Hello! It sounds like there may be an issue with the memory or settings on your Yamaha RX-V340 receiver. Would you like some assistance in troubleshooting the problem? Here are a few steps you can try to see if it resolves the issue:

1. Ensure that your receiver is plugged into a stable power source and that it is receiving power.

2. Check if there is a backup battery on your receiver that may need to be replaced if it is depleted. Consult the user manual for guidance on how to locate and replace the battery.

3. Reset your receiver to its factory settings. This can usually be done by pressing and holding a certain combination of buttons, such as "Power" and "Info" or "Standby" and "Straight" simultaneously. Refer to the user manual or contact Yamaha customer support for specific instructions for your model.

4. Once the receiver has been reset, try setting the radio frequencies again and see if they are retained after powering off and on.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it would be best to contact Yamaha customer support or take the receiver to an authorized service center for further assistance. They will be able to provide more specific guidance and potentially identify any hardware issues that may be causing the problem.
