Yahoo Email Infected, Not Working

My email is frozen I cannot close it or do anything. It was infected, I changed my password. It seemed to be working well in the beginning, but the strange thing is that my inbox says 83 when I only have 4 messages.... Please help me! Thx Malena G

Odin, I am sorry but the problem is worse now. I cannot open my mail AT ALL. I did what you said of cleaning "cookies". Could it be that I erased more than what I should?
