I have bought a new washing machine, above model, about a month ago. I am very perturbed by the loud noise it does during the washing cycle. Is this right?

It turned out a nut came lose and the wheel that turns the machine when the cycles change was slipping and not connecting. Luckily we caught it in time and he was able to just put it back together and tighten the bolt. If we had to replace the wheel, which was plastic, it would have been $40.00 for the part. I told the repair guy the first machine I got when I was in my 20s lasted 15 years. He said "that won't happen again." They're making them cheaper but charging just as much. Great. lol
