Wtw4800xq Whirlpool Top-load Washer

For two days I have been trying to unlock the washer.  I tried to stop a load because the spin and lock lid was blinking and it would not stop so I tried to cancel and it did cancel but the lid is still locked.  Held the cancel for 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, unplugged for overnight. Still no luck, had for two years and no problems but this.  The manual does not show me anything
