Whirlpool Wfw9550ww Washer Power Light Won't Turn Off.

After soak cycle, I chose wash cycle, then quickly attempted to switch to a different cleaning cycle. Locked up, pressing pause/cancel for 20 secs won't turn off power light. controls are frozen.
