Machine Wont Turn On

We have duet washer modelwfw9200 ....worked great then after not using in our guest home for 9 months, tried to turn on.....nothing.....when press and hold power button does not illuminate but dings once or twice and thats it. Bought a new control board and still nothing. HELP....we live on a bridgeless island and we are not going to have repairman after repairman trying to figure it out. I have read so many reviews online with same issues and no fix.....the machine has hardly benn used and we spent alot of money on the pair.....im sick over this
