Whirlpool Gs Wdf775saym

hi can u please let me know why they are discontinuing this model?? any problems with it? if it is a good seller why would it be discontinue...i am looking for a whirlpool and very concerned.....also the door has a vent on it....does that have heat coming out that will warp my cabinet (wood)? why does this model only have one vent and one not on the front panel.....can u tell me the diffence between this one and the 750saym model? i appreciate u getting back to me asap....if this model is discontinuing is it safe to still purchase one? thanks again mary l
