Lint On Clothes Washed In Washer

I have a stackable washer/dryer combo, MOD WET4024EW0 (this is off dryer door, cannot see washer model number). When I wash clothes there is lint all over them. I am ruining towels & dark clothes! Is there a washer filter? If so, where? If not, how can I get rid of washer lint. I live in an apartment so I do not have the manual. Please help

Before each washing, as with any washer, you must remove by hand lint from the lint trap. You can view the manual online but you must have the model number. To locate the model number, go to http://www.needapplianceparts.com/applianceserialnumberbreakdown.aspx. Then for the manual go to http://www.manualslib.com/.
