Ice Maker On The Blink.
Just replaced the fill tube on this frig. due to the rubber inlet portion that sits over the fill cup of the ice maker was cracked and leaking. I thought this would correct the problem but not so. I do get a few ice cubes but water still leaks into the ice dispenser and surrounding housing unit where it freezes. I am then unable to pull out the ice bucket untill I defrost and clean out the ice. I suspect that ice must be blocking the water somewhere as the water is being into the ice maker. My last resort is to attack it with a hair dryer but I am trying to figure out how to remove the ice maker to get at it. Can you advise or add any other remedies that will help? This refrigerator is only 2 yrs old and I have not had ice for the majority of that time.
