Charged Battery Problem
When I place a fully charged battery into the Westinghouse Unplugged vacuum the light goes on. When I tilt the vacuum it works for 3 seconds and shuts of

What could be the problem is the battery could be shot after not being used for so many years that the life of the battery is done. I would recommend taking it to a local vacuum store and have them take a look at the connections between where the battery goes and the motor.
