Power Requirements For Wd3200ml When Connected To A Samsung Galaxy Tablet S4
Attempting to connect an older Western Digital Passport Elite Storage Unit (WD3200ML) to a Newer Samsung Galaxy Tablet S4 for extra photo storage.I need to get an OTG USB 2 to USB C to connect to the S4 Tablet. Will the Tablet supply enough power to run the Passport Elite? If not, the S4 Tablet has only one USB C port for data and charging the Tablet, do I then need an OTG Adapter cable with a "power in" connection?
