I Have A Wd Scorpion Blue Wdc Wd1200beve-00a0ht0 Hard Drive, Two Years Old.
Diagnostics with System Mechanics on my Dell Inspiron 9100 show that the "Load/Unload cycle" is in the Warning stage, right at the point of complete failure. Is this repairable? If so, how? System is often very slow.

Greetings - Since this it is a hardware deterorating in health, there should be no software that can help. However the hard drive is just likely to fail any time when the load/unload cycle count reaches the maximum as opposed to being bound to fail at maximum. A firmware update may help it reach the max slower.
