My Laptop Appears To Be Blocked From Weebly.com
Weebly stopped loading a short time back - anything with weebly.com in it. I use it to track my son's homework, as the school has a site there. I thought is was my work laptop - some kind of Defender update or something, but all other machines in my house access just fine, so it's not my ISP. I've disabled Defender, checked internet settings, McAfee, etc... all the common sense items - nothing. If I boot up in safe mode, I can get to Weebly.com, so it's something on my laptop.

Remember this is a corporate laptop... after much digging, I discovered that "IPS" had been added to my McAfee, and of course, all of the policies are hidden from my view. So a recent McAfee addition is the culprit. How I discovered this is that the log file is not hidden from me, so when I did a ping -a on the IPs it was reporting to be blocking, they all came back with weebly.com in some format. Since this is an office laptop, I can't really have it "fixed" but I thought I'd share the root cause.
