Can I Return A Bike To Wal-mart

I purchased a bike a week ago from wal-mart and the representative said that I can return it within 30 days. The gears don't work properly and so I want to return it because I bought a better quality bike somewhere else. Problem is I tried returning it and they told me that there are no returns on bikes. Is this true, I really need to return it and the rep told me that it is not a problem when I bought it.

I'm pretty sure that you can return anything so long as it is within the proper policy.

Here's the walmart return policy, I don't see anything about not being able to return bikes.

HI I just wanted to let you know that i have bought and returned bikes that i have gotten from walmart before even after 30 days and once without a reciept. It is possible you got someone who didnt want to do their job so i would keep trying.

I bought a cruiser bike and i ended up just not liking it and returned it and got my money back immediately.
