Customer Service
I shop at Walmart about twice weekly & for the first time ever, I actually had employees go above & beyond to help me last week. I was quite surprised considering every other time I needed assistance I was always treated like a nuisance. So they can have outstanding customer service, but 75% of the time its impossible to get helpful assistance that doesn't seem bothered to help you. Also they took their savings catcher program away, I'm highly disappointed by that!

Walmart is Awesome
I love to shop at wal-mart, the store 0485 is my favorite because it's always clean, the managers are friendly and always greet you with a smile. The customer services and cashiers are fast, friendly, and on point. The stockers are friendly as well, and open to any questions. I also like how the produce and meat are always fresh, and I can save money because they offer reasonable prices.elysefarber319.... November 3rd, 2016
Poor Customer Service at Walmart
I am not a fan of Walmart, seems that everytime I have been in there and need information about something in a certain department I need to go looking all over the store for an associate that can help me or should I say that is willing to help me. I have gotten told thats not my department way to many times. No customer should have to be searching from department to department to find assistance, there should be associates assigned to specific departments.

I am surprised that WalMart's my family mobile sells inferior phones and mobile plans. I have had mobile service for over 20 years with Verizon, both the phone and service of my family mobile worst. I changed to another provider and they are still taking money out of my account. I talked to my family mobile customer service and they could bot help me and they told me, there is no telephone number to contact for a refund. You have to send and email or letter. No one seems to care. Shame on WalMart. Please be cautious, do not sign up for automatic billing. According to reviews, I am not the only one with this problem.

My God. My mouth is slicked ith RAW onion oil, I prepared Asian (they NEVER USE RAW) salad and found core cabbage (soap flavor) and then the punch of raw onion. Gargling will NOT work right away. Asian (I grew up in there) ? NOT yeccch.

Lost and Found and LOST
Walmart LOST my earring that was turned in my a customer and placed in Lost & Found by a WM Associate. The lady that helped me even remembered seeing it! So when I go to retrieve it --- IT IS GONE. Hmmmm.When I spoke with the Manager she actually said, "We have other things to do besides look for earrings people lose in our store!" I could not believe she said that.
Bottom line: I used to spend $800-$1000 a month at that store. Not anymore.
Is there no safe Lost & Found policy in place Walmart? Sheds a bad light on your employees.

Availability!
I've worked for Walmart 15 yrs, I have never found anything harder than trying to getting on the walmartone.com so I can get a discount for my phones! It won't take my email and I don't understand why we just can't reregister . If a person get through your system how am I supposed to get the discount I deserve !

I had received a custom picture mug by mail and when i opened it up there was a noticeable chip on the mug. Whoever packed it should have checked the mug for defects before packing it.

WalMart Rip-off!! You think you can buy a gallon of water at WalMart cheaper than at Albertsons, Main St Market or whereever? Think again. Tonight we took two three gallon bottles to WalMart since the price shows .27/per gallon. The other stores are at about .33/gallon. Imagine our surprise when it rings up 1.11/container. When we asked about it the clerk stated "It's two three gallon containers." I realized this and pointed out that we still had six gallons of water at .27/gallon. She was emphatic and showed us that if she rang it up as 6 gallons, (gallon jugs) it would be .27/gallon. But if you get it in a larger container it cost more. Figure it out, it cost .10 more per gallon to buy in bulk! I know it's not much but if we buy 12 gallons a week, They are ripping you off to the tune of $62.40 per year for water. Guess WalMart is out!! Pass this on!

You know what WALMART! they rip you off when it comes to lunch meat. They charge u for expencive trky, chkn,and ham but put the cheaper product in the bag. This happened twice for me. An if they dont get ya that way then they cut the meats and cheeses way to think even if u asked for thinly sliced they dont do it. Like come on if u hate cutting lunch meat dont apply at a deli. And even if u did hate ur job u should be thankful people eat sandwitches, other wise u wouldnt have a job! Tricked me once shame on u, tricked me twice shame on me!

Every time I try to find a pair of jeans online or at a retail store, they only seem to provide Tall size jeans for a heavier set frame. You can get a Long length jean if you're a size 12 and up. They don't provide "T" sizes for individuals with a size 2, 4, 6 or even 8. I feel this is quite discriminatory. I can't help that I'm tall with a thin frame. Always have been.

Walmart Layaway
Since the Layaway program was reinstated in our area, the sales of our store have already increased for the upcoming season. The payment process is easy, and my only complaint is that the payments cannot be made online using the same codes that are used in-store.

The new self checkout is not convenient at all!!! First of all it will lead to theft. I have already witnessed it.
Why should I take up my time to train myself to check out, you have capable staff to carry this out in a timely fashion.
If this is to continue you will loose me as a customer in which would be sad. I spend on an average of $150.00 per week at your store.

The downside of monopolization

The Morgantown Pa Walmart has become disappointing due to the fact that the shelves on many occasions aren't stocked completely, and or totally empty. Twice my wife and I have taken home extremely moldy cheese. We live about 10 miles away from the store and find that it is a considerable inconvience to drive back to return it. WE just dump it in the trash and try not to buy it on our trips to the store. If the Morgantown Walmart doesn't improve the company will lose my wife and I will shop some where else.

Something for walmart to think about
My issue with walmart is this it seems every time I have been shopping to get one or two things head to the express. There is always someone with a cart full of items well beyond the limit of 20 items or less. I have asked management about this and was told they cannot tell the cust to get into another line. I find this ridiculous as other custs should not have to wait more than ten mins that is way it called the EXPRESS lane. This policy should be looked over and changed!sherbear44p.... April 7th, 2013

I'm very disappointed with your claim about ad match guaranteed. I purchased 9 Lives 13.3 lbs cat food bag. I always get it from Family Dollar cheaper than Walmart 9.00, so I decided to bring my receipt to prove it, the customer service lady didn't took it, she claimed it had to be on the ad. I don't understand since their price don't change and you are suppose to make customers happy why can't I get it from the same price? Now I know from now on where am I going to be getting my cat food which I purchase every 3 weeks. I'm very dissatisfied with your ad match. I have been a Walmart customer for a long time. Thank you

Seems forever that I have noticed the neglected dying fish/frogs/snails in the pet department of Walmart stores. I complained to the staff about the amount of dead and dying fish that are a constant presence in Walmart stores.
They have no weed gravel ect, look so sickly and Im questioning the point of such neglect as they cant be making much profit from such purchases.
Then I noticed jar upon jar of pretty Beta fish that had been there weeks....another load was placed with them, there must have been 30 on the shelves. I asked how many they sold, the staff members said that they dont sell any, but the store keeps ordering them none stop...they just die and then more arrive and they die??.
They are packaged on top of each other..so the bottom ones arrive dead anyway as they dont get surface air. A pointless waste.
They may "only" be little fish, but I really dont think Walmart should be selling anything live...leave the fish to the experts at Petsmart

Improper pricing
I purchase an snack cake item of Entenmanns donuts at a store in Niles, Il today. It was miss priced in the computer at the self service check-out. I had to go back to the shelf and make sure it was right. I then got the right price. But when I went to customer service dept to talk to a Mgr I was informed that they would take care of it and was informed that the Mgr would be notified.Anonymous-95200.... January 21st, 2013
In Stevens Point WI where I shop 3-4 times a week and find the store at the height of the flu season has had no wipes available to wipe the carts for over 11 days is disgusting.
Every store I have been to has them upon entry. I will not shop at this Walmart until
they have them and I will rethink my shoping
habits and loyalty. Shame on the Stevens Point WI Walmart. NO EXCUSES for this.

It is recognized that Walmart is trying to improve it's image by hiring veterans and buying more American made products which is very commendable and in spirit of the founder. HOWEVER, I would recommend that they have a "mystery shopper" visit store 1347, Austin Hwy, S.A. Tx. Maybe they will subject to my observations of 1 hr ago. A visit to the men's restroom found deplorable conditions. There are no mirrors, no paper towels and with all of the wall fixtures either broken or badly damaged. I did't check but I would guess there is no T-paper either. I WOULD ALSO GUESS THAT IF A HIGH RANKING COMPANY OFfICiAL VISITED THIS RESTROOM, THINGS WOULD HAPPEN AND QUICKLY.
Upon check out, with purchases in excess of $60 on this visit our checker was more interested in discussing "seeing the baby" with another employee that she did not make sure we got all of our merchandise. When we got home (a 10 mile trip)we found 1 item had not been put into our cart. IF THIS HAD HAPPENED TO A COMPANY OffICiAL SOME TYPE OF ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN. But, alss, I am just a repeat customer who I guess will have to either accept such conditions or take my business to a competitor who just opened a new BIG store 1 1/2 blocks down the road.

I visited three Walmart stores in eastern Louisville, one on S.Hursbourn Pkwy, one on Shelbyville Rd and one on N. Hursbourn Pkwy. All three stores had two handicapped carts with "out of service" signs hanging on them with no carts available. My wife require a cart to shop. Needless to say we went to another store. WHY are all of these carts defective at one time or does not the manager have them repaired in a timely fashion.

they dont care about plus size children clothing i have a child that i have to buy 18 plus at jc pennys the only things that i can get at walmat to fit her are from jounir or women and all the shirts ae low cut she is only 10 yr and also you dont carry enough petite cloths maybe ifvyou woukd quit thinking that most people are tall and skinny you might not have so much to put on clearence. also this years christmas decorations stink i cant even find christmas lights.

I bought a box of Great Value K-Cups I have not got one good cup out of the box yet. The cup will not allow all the water to go through and what goes through has grounds in it. I gave my daughter one to try and the same happened in her machine. We both have Keurig Machines.

Worst Chain ever.
This store is ridiculous. I ordered printer ink to pick up in the store, when we got there, all the employees were clueless. The manager has the IQ of a brick. They don't even carry the item I wanted, Why was I able to place the order if you don't carry the item? Everytime I visit this store I regret it. I will not be back.justlikewolves.... Manager hires mostly friends.
I guess the manager hires only peoples he knows. I always see employees paling around instead of doing actual work. Had to wait 45 minutes in the fabric department to have the lady cut 3 sheets.

I bought a garmin nuvi from wallmart a few months ago 2 days ago i started having problems with the gadget so I decided to return it for another of the same item. I couldn't believe it when the manager on duty decided he couldn't do an even exchange for me because i didn't have a receipt and the merchandise was over 15 days old.I couldn't believe my ears . I visit the King George, VA Walmart frequently and I think it gives a bad impression for Walmart to have young ladies who are barely 100lbs. out there pushing carts. Where are the men? I usually see them standing around doing much of nothing.

fired from walmart for reporting employee abuse.I worked at The Exton, Pa. walmart for 10-years. I always gave my all, got great work reviews, and many notices for excellent customer service. Then we got a new store manager who was severely verbally abusive to many employees, myself, and even a mentally handicapped female employee. I reported this behavior many times and nothing changed, then the manager made negative comments to me about my reporting him and fired me. i contacted the NLRB and they filed a charge on walmart, which i had to have dropped in exchange for having my job reinstated. Upon returning to work i was consistently retaliated on and fired twice more for lies made up by the same district manager who failed to do anything about the abusive store manager despite my numerous reports. When i went back to the NLRB they said that walmart lawyers got involved and they didn't want to pursue it and when i tried to file a complaint about the illegal retaliation i had been subject to since returning to work, they dismissed it and printed a bunch defamatory slanderous lies that walmart told them that i beieve they knew weren't true in a govererment file.

Associate
I am an associate at a Wal-Mart store and I am a Customer Service Manager. I believe that it is a very good company to work for, and I have been with it for over ten years. I hope to one day become an assistant manager.

Walmart in Winchester, VA
I always have a very good experience with this store, the best thing I love is it always clean, even the bathrooms. The people working there for the most part are very nice and they have a wider selection that the surrounding stores.

Rude to my Family
My Grandmother recently visted the wal-mart "neighborhood market" where she was told her prescription would be ready by a specific time, AND the pharmacy tech assured her he would telephone her if there were any issues with the scripts -- INCLUDING if her insurance was not going to cover all the cost. She specifically mentioned to him she would need to know before coming back down so she could stop at an ATM and get any needed funds.No one ever called her so she arrived back at the agreed upon time. She was asked to "hold on one moment" when her turn arrived at the counter. FOURTY-FIVE minutes later the rep she spoke with earlier in the day arrived to tell her "Your insurance didn't cover all the cost."
Not only had he NOT called her as promised, but he also FAILED to fill her prescription!! They had done absolutely NOTHING except check the coverage and throw it to the side. My grandmother was the FIRST person in line at the pharmacy that morning.
She had to wait an additionaly FIFTEEN minutes for these rude, and uncaring people to fill her prescription which had been dropped off 4 hours prior to arriving for her 45 minute wait! So basically she waited an hour at the walmart for a script she had dropped off first thing.
Additionally,the rep made a mistake. Her meds WERE covered completely. Also, she had items she wished to pay for at the pharmacy register and the rep threw her prescription on the counter and walked away.
Whereupon she took her items to the express customer service checkout. The rep there was on a personal phone call with who appeared to be a boyfriend, and she gave my grandmother a look like she was inconviencing her. She never said anything to her, just dirty looks and ignoring her.
My grandmother went to a different register and had to wait in line again for another rep who was nice, but obviously aggrivated because of all the work being put on her.
Why does walmart feel it is acceptable to allow their employees to treat customers like dog poop under their feet?
This is, yet another reason, why I shop at Target.

Not necessarily about the customer service experience but about the prices of a prescription. My husband has Lyhme's disease and contracted a staph infection. The doctor gave him some antibiotics that wal mart charged $135 for and then when he got a refill for the same thing and took it to our regular pharmacist, the price was only $30. This is outrageous that Wal-Mart can charge such an extremely high price.

scarfs
I bought three scarfs for my window. the measurements say 54 by 216". however each scarf was only 54" by 108", exactly half of what it should have been. This is clearly miss representation and fraught. Now I have to return all of the scarfs and go somewhere else. This is very very disappointing. These scarfs came from CHINA. Greatest Store Ever
Not only does Walmart have the best prices around and always seem to have everything in stock that I want when I want it, but they go above and beyond to make their customers happy. I can only drink a certain type of coffee creamer and walmart did not sell it. so everytime I went grocery shopping i had to go to walmart and then Sweetbay to get my creamer. I spoke with a customer service rep about wanting the creamer and they ordered it and every month they order it for me and make sure I have it to pick up when I need it.Anonymous-37594.... Customer service of the walmart in Yukon Oklahoma.
Sell expired food, wait in checkout for over an hour and then when you bring it to the "managers" attention I was asked to not call back. One would think the "manager" would want to improve his store however, he (Regan Milsap) IS the problem.Target and Crest will profit from my business from now on.

It's addicting
I have some friends that go to Walmart almost every day. Their is just something magical about the place and I can't really explain it. I suppose I love the place so much because it has been a part of growing up for me. My family would go grocery shopping at Walmart every week. I plan on starting a job here when I go off to college, and I think I will love every moment of it. The workers are always friendly and it is easy to find your way around the store. I love this store and I don't think anything will change that.

Not that Appealing
Walmart used to draw consumers in with cheap prices, but thse days they are losing the advantage-- not longer offering the deep discounts compared to stores like Target. Wal-Mart sells a $24.88 sander which requires sand paper that has holes in it the square type and it only comes with one piece of sandpaper. The problem is you can't buy this kind of sand paper at the Wal-Mart stores or at Lowes. So why do you sell something you can't get accessories that you have to use with the product

Products I've counted on are missing: Oriental Stir Fry and top notch loose granola in a round plastic container. Wal Mart is not always cheaper in price, i.e. Cokes. Wal Mart brand bulk pkgs
of chicken are tough!!. Broccoli salad has been dumbed down - not as good. I'm frequently shopping elsewhere.

Had a flat, closest place was Walmart in Moberly, MO, , ,
they got my truck in right a way, took them over an hour to fix a little hole, , the employees were all joking around having a soo much fun that they obviously didn't to their job
Drove my truck home, parked it, , got a call today my daughter sick at school, and can't go and get her because my tire is FLAT, just after they fixed it!!!!!
I called the Manager in the tire dept, who told me I would have to discuss it with his assistant manager who has more authority over these things than him (WHAT?? since when does an assistant have more authority than the actual manager??)
and the assistant manager told me oops, if some how you can get it aired and get it back here we can fix it but if you can't get it here I won't fix it, , , so now tell me how I am going to get all the way back to Moberly with a flat tire??? How am I going to get my daughter picked up from school?? There were 3!! employees working on my tire that day , , I watched them standing around playing around, , and if 3 of their employees' couldn't get a patch right then they really need to be making some job cuts or firing their hiring personel. . Gas prices are getting outrageous in my truck it costs me $30 to get to Walmart from my house, , so I got to make an extra trip SOMEHOW to get my tire fixed because they screwed up the first time--by the time I am done trying to get it fixed the 2nd time, spending what I got to on gas and all, I could of just bought a new tire!!! I think that walmart needs to put AMERICAN GOODS IN THE STORE. You can not go in and buy AMERICAN MADE FILM.
Walmart needs to make 50% of it's stock AMERICAN MADE and let the people pick.

we spend a lot time at walmart in lenoir,
the check-out were full and it seem like they bought out the store, and i had a overly
full cart. i was trying to find a line that wasn't so busy. there were a lady at one check-out and a man at the other,so i went with the lady, i waited for a while, so i went to the mans line, i was finish checking out before the ladies line was just starting with the person before me.

Location nearest my home is horrible!
I do prefer to shop at Target over Walmart, but this only became more prominent in the last couple of years when I realized how rude, and horrible the employees are at the Walmart nearest to my home. They have absolutely NO customer service skills, are very unhelpful, and often extremely rude.I only go there if I absolutely have no choice.

I am from Nova Scotia canada and in the past week I had two experiences with Walmart. I don't know why you say you price match when you clearly don't unless it suits you not the customer.Took my flyer and went to Zellers no problem in and out with my items in seconds.I argued with the employes at walmart longer than that.
The second time was over a coupon that clearly said get one item free when you buy any two other products of the same brand.The girls plainly made up ther own rules of what I had to buy.That was not what was written on the coupon. They made the rules to suit themselves.I told them to shove it and went again to four different stores turned in four coupons and got my free items. Only at walmart did I have any trouble.Thank goodness we are getting Target here so guess where I will be shopping Thanks

I live in Washington UT. I usually will drive pass the Washington Walmart to go to Bloomington Walmart in St. George or drive to the Hurricane Walmart. Wahington store has long lines, not enough cashiers, dirty store and not to many helpful people. I've also noticed how belittling the supervisors at night treat the employees. Their was a gentlemen there named Gary that seemed to be the only one that would help people. I understand that he has now left. The few times that I have gone to Washington store people are alway upset and it is a joke that the manager puts signs up about customer service. You ought to do an employee survey and customer survey. After last night I will drive the extra 10 miles to avoid that store.

Lost Two Hubcaps after having New tires installed on car at Palmetto Fla. Store#3370 was contacted by Service Manger and was told he would send Two replacements if I would consider the problem Resolved. That was about 2 months ago. No Hubcaps or no compensation at all.Was on Service Order 68631. By Technician # SN.JCA 10037621209. I bought 8 tires and a Battery while there last winter and if I wait till next winter when I go down there I will not be a happy customer. This is the way to lose Customers. you miss out on a lot of sales not having customer service 24-7. i needed to buy 1,200.00 in office furnature but was penalized for working nights. Im still willing to purchase the furniture if you are willing to work with me.

i visit the salem walmart in va. and it is the worst store ever course walmart sucks to begin with you cant find one employee that loves their job thats why you go in there that you always see new faces causes walmart treats thier employees like trash, like its ok for you to threaten someone or hit someone but if you dont get your stock up on time you get wrote up walmart got their priorties all wrong if you treat your employess like crap then they will treat your the customers like crap thats why you get poor service at walmart and my whole family stopped shopping at walmart i will drive 35 mintes to rocky mount to roses before i spend another dime at walmart cause they are all about the dollar bill and if it wasnt for their employees they wouldnt get that dollar
