Does A Walmart Manage Let His Help Know Where And How To Reach Him In The Store?

Recently left my license in the store , went back to pick it up and was held up over half an hour as no one seemed to know just what to do. I suggested paging the manager and the clerk told me she wouldn't begin to know how to get him. I said doesn't he have a pager or a cell phone or isn't there a procedure you follow. Someone from the store has been kind enough to call and let me know I left the license there, yet no one knew just what to do. The young clerk tried knocking on a closed door with no window. She kept knocking, and then one of the other clers said"no one is in there." She asked several clerks what to do, all were busy and seemed to just say " I don't know, etc." She used the computer to get help and after quite awhile someone came and in the end I got my license. I am concerned as if there was an emergency in the store how do you reach the manager if no one knows how to contact him or her. Also why isn't there a sign posted at customer service letting you know the manager on duty and letting clerks know how to reach him.  Seems as if Walmart wants my money but doesn't mind keeping me waiting in long lines too. I really had no idea where to go to get the license and waited in line at customer service to ask. Wasted over 30 minutes. I also think the door the clerk was knocking on should have a window in it, so they can see if anyone is in there or not. Does Walmart care about anything. I am frustrated with the store on other counts too. Lack of courtesy, long lines, and at times, no one is helpful.
