Answering System Will Not Turn Off.
We have tried turning off the answering machine by both the remote and on the base and the answering machine still answers the incoming call after 4 or 5 rings (is set to 6 rings) with the message "Please enter you remote access code". We need the phone to ring longer so we can get to the phone and we do not want incoming callers to here this message.
