You Rec'd This Msg Because You Sent A Text To A Number Without The Area Code Or

I keep getting the above error message when texting particular contacts, so I went in and edited their info to include area code, and I am still receiving this error message. How do I "unblock" these contacts??? (Ps I can receive texts FROM them, they do not receive my replies)
