I Need To Change My Area Code, I Still Have Not Heard From Virgin Mobile

I am in california and have a different area code out-of-state. i want to change the area code to a californina area code. virgin mobile has put me on hold for over 8 mins..and have never helped me with this problem. I want to change the area code to 916---
