Google Message Pop Up

A Pop-up message "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped." I press OK.This is interfering with overall ability to operate phone.How do I disable? Fix?

The problem appears to be directly related to the search app at the top on the home screen. try Settings > Apps > All > Selected the Google app > Force stop > Clear cache
