How Do I Get Verizon To Stop Billing Me?

my phone stopped working and I did try another but did not like it.I returned it inside the 2 weeks and ENDED ALL business with you. I now have a bill and it went to collections and on my credit report. WHY DID THIS ALL HAPPEN? YOUR employee here in Phillips ,WI DID NOT DO HIS JOB!!!!!! I am in the process now of filing complaints with the CPA and the BBB!!!!!!!. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE GONE THIS FAR. IT IS YOUR EMPLOYEES FAULT.!!!!!!

Sorry for your problems--but we're an independent help site not connected with Verizon. Here are some steps to consider, in order:

Call customer service, and if necessary politely but firmly ask for a manager (use the contact information at https://www.contacthelp.com/verizon/customer-service ).
Complain to corporate: use the corporate contact information at http://www.corporateofficeowl.com/verizon/Corporate%20Office
Call the utility commission for your state, at 800-225-7729.

In addition, you may want to consider a review/complaint site like www.complaintsboard.com/,,,, http://www.consumeraffairs.com/, or https://www.yelp.com/, each of which may get action from the offending companies.

(If you have not yet done so, you should immediately dispute the charges with your bank.)
