How Should I Go About Replacing My Cell Phone Without Having To Pay Money?

My phone shuts down without warning. Incoming calls often fail to ring in. I used to be able to get a free replacement at the local Verizon store, but now I learn that I have to pay $50 and then apply for a rebate. I just don't think I should have to do that.

If the phone is under warranty you should be able to get a replacement with no cost at all. I would call in to the customer service line and ask a representative. Phone: 800-922-0204

Hours of Operation: Monday-Sunday 8am-8pm If the phone is out of warranty this could be why you are required to pay a fee. Good luck!

there are a few options.

1) sell the phone you have now and use that money you make to buy a new one.

2) recycle or donate your old phone and sign up for a new plan witha provider and take the free phone option that they provide
