Phone Having A Problem.

My phone does not work properly. After I dial a number I can hear that it is entering the numbers that I dialed. I think because of this, I cannot dial *82, I cannot reach my answering maching through Comcast and when I call a number (yours included) and try to enter the numbers you've requested to get to the right department, it will not enter it. I am having an awful time here as I have a blocked number and have to push *82 to unblock it so my children will know it is me calling. I must have pushed some kind of button on the phone to do this. Can you help me undo this? Thank you so much.
