Sudden Loss Of Sound....

Recently bought the D1680-4.  I also have the D1588 working in the home as well.  COuple of times now I have lost the sound during a call.  Today, I quickly switched to a D1588 handset and the person was still there talking away.  Was not sure if this is a known issue, possible issue with 2 Dect's or what?  Not consistent that I am aware of...yet.
