Answering System Has No Power
The answering system does not have power. The handset is recieveing power because the red light on hand set is active. The handset battery is dead and will not recharge. The handset indicates it is "searching". The answering system is completely dead it appears to have no power and has a blank, dark display screen. I have checked to see if display is on and get not respone . I jack the telepphone cable it is good. The power adater appears to be working.
