- Turn on your scanner and make sure it is in the VHF/UHF band mode.
- Press the "Menu" button and navigate to the "System Setup" menu.
- Select "Frequency Entry" and then select "Add Channel"
- Use the keypad to enter the frequency you wish to program, 154.000 MHz in this case.
- Press the "Menu" button again to save the frequency and return to the main menu
- Press the "Scan" button to start scanning for the frequency you just programmed.
If you are still having trouble programming your scanner, it might be helpful to consult the scanner's user manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Here are the general steps to program the Motorola 346XTc:
- Connect the programming cable to the radio and your computer.
- Turn on the radio and enter programming mode.
- Open the CPS software on your computer.
- Read the data from the radio into the CPS software.
- Make any necessary changes to the settings or channels.
- Write the data back to the radio.
- Exit programming mode and test the radio to ensure it is functioning correctly.
It's important to note that programming a radio requires knowledge of the specific settings and options available for the radio model. I recommend consulting the manual and the Motorola Solutions website for detailed instructions and troubleshooting.
